- 89 Points From Neal Martin, Wine Advocate
- "The 2013 Volnay 1er Cru Chevrets includes 50% whole-cluster fruit. It has a tightly wound, much more backward nose than the Clos des Angles ’13 this year. The palate is medium-bodied with supple tannin and a gentle grip, a dash of white pepper toward the finish livening things up. Give it a year or two after bottling, by which time it will hopefully have lost its bashful disposition."
About Nicolas Rossignol
"Now comfortably ensconced in his new winery on the Beaune périphérique, Nicolas has arrived at a mature style that's much more classical than his attention-grabbing aesthetic of yesteryear. Today, as I've written before, he numbers among the Côte de Beaune's most serious producers." - William Kelley in his 2019 reviews
"Now, this is a winemaker who deserves much higher status, and perhaps that is just a matter of time. Maybe if he had a couple of Grand Crus he would gain a higher profile." - Neal Martin in 2017 reviews
