Often considered the classic expression of the grape, Foradori's Teroldego speaks to her patient and even-handed winemaking. What's less talked about is Foradori's talent with French grapes, a skill on center stage at her Tuscan winery, Ampeleia. On steep iron-rich cliffs in the Maremma, Ampeleia grows biodynamic Cabernet Franc and Rhone grapes with unique elegance. The high elevation balances the warm Tuscan sun with cool nights leaving their Grenache finely balanced and the Cab Franc fragrant & floral.
