Laurent Tribut learned his craft inside one of the great houses of Chablis: married to Marie-Clotilde, daughter of Rene Dauvissat, he made his first wines in the Dauvissat cellar under Rene and his son Vincent, whose domaine stands with Raveneau at the top of the appellation, before establishing his own cellar a few miles away. The family farms about five hectares, harvests by hand, ferments in enamel tanks and ages some wines in used oak, with daughter Solange leading the winemaking. Imported by Vineyard Brands, founded in 1971 by Robert Haas and grounded from the start in leading Burgundy estates, the wines show the pure, classically shaped style associated with Dauvissat.
