Laurent Tribut's domaine grew out of the Dauvissat family: his wife Marie-Clotilde is the daughter of Rene Dauvissat and sister of Vincent, whose estate is regularly ranked with Raveneau as the reference point for Chablis, and the couple made their first vintages in the Dauvissat cellar before moving to Poinchy. They carried over the same practices, picking by hand, fermenting in enamel tanks and aging in used oak, on roughly five hectares where daughter Solange leads the winemaking. Vineyard Brands, the importer Robert Haas founded in 1971 on a base of top Burgundy domaines, brings the wines to the US.
