The Beyer family estate in Eguisheim dates back to 1580, making it one of the historic domaines of the region. Christian trained in Vosne‑Romanée, where he developed a deep respect for Pinot Noir. He later brought Vosne-Romanée clones back to Alsace and has become one of the more outspoken voices championing the potential of Pinot Noir in Alsace, pushing the variety to new heights within the region.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eDuring the tasting, we will explore wines from the family’s holdings within Alsace Grand Cru vineyards: Pfersigberg and Eichberg, two of the 51 Grand Cru sites in Alsace.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eWithin \u003cstrong\u003ePfersigberg\u003c\/strong\u003e lies the Beyer family’s lieu-dit \u003cstrong\u003eSundel\u003c\/strong\u003e, which has been in their possession since the Sale of National Assets following the French Revolution in 1792.
