I've been on the hunt lately. When the weather gets cool and crisp like this week, I always crave old, mature Bordeaux. When winter comes calling, vintage Bordeaux delivers a smorgasbord of scents to accompany you fireside. Damp forest floor, smoky cedar, soy, iron, salted licorice, pencil lead, and tobacco dance in abundance and in gorgeous harmony in great bottles of old Bordeaux. However, I don't always want to pay the premium for the exquisite classified growths (or open prized bottles in the cellar on a whim). So I've found a trio of great vintages of a well-preserved treasure from the Haut-Medoc in the Left Bank of Bordeaux so we can all scratch this mature Bordeaux itch without breaking the bank. These bottles were sourced directly from this well-regarded Cru Bourgeois estate. As of 2020, d'Agassac remains in the highest tier of the Cru Bourgeois classification, the Cru Exceptionnel, a prestige awarded to only fourteen of the 179 Cru Bourgeois estates. This recognizes d'Agassac as one of the highest quality smaller estates in the region. How do I pick up my wine?

Orders are generally ready within 1-2 business days, but you can always email or call us for a status update. 

Need your wine fast? Just call us! We can expedite the order and may have it ready in less than an hour.

Houston Orders

After checking out, you will receive a pickup confirmation email when the order has been pulled and packed. You can pickup your wine at our shop at 2301 Portsmouth Street in Upper Kirby, Houston.

San Antonio Orders

Until the new shop opens in San Antonio, we can transfer or ship wine to San Antonio. At checkout, choose Pick Up in Houston, and email us and we will transfer or ship your wine to San Antonio free of charge.
