Agricola Brandini is an organically farmed estate in La Morra, run by Giovanna Bagnasco, best known for Barolo. Alta Langa is Piemonte's appellation for traditional method sparkling wine, made from Pinot Noir and Chardonnay grown at elevation in the hills south of Alba, with a minimum of 30 months on the lees. Expect fine bubbles, citrus and a light toasty note. A serious aperitif and a good match for fried antipasti.
