Château La Conseillante sits on the prized clay and gravel plateau of Pomerol, bordering celebrated neighbors such as Cheval Blanc and Vieux Château Certan. The estate is instantly recognizable for its deep violet aromatics, silky textures, and a house style that marries precision, elegance, and terroir transparency.

Since taking the helm in 2015, Marielle Cazaux has guided La Conseillante through a period of remarkable critical acclaim, working closely with the Nicolas family and consultant Michel Rolland. Her approach emphasizes a deep understanding of individual vineyard parcels, meticulous monitoring in both vineyard and cellar, and thoughtful innovation that preserves the estate’s classical identity. Under her leadership, La Conseillante has produced multiple 100-point wines, reinforcing its place among the elite of Pomerol.
