The Colin family is one of the premier family names in Burgundy. Pierre Yves Colin Morey is likely the most well known for many of you, but there are several other members of the extended family tree that produce exquisitely collectible wines. If the PYCM-side of the family tree focuses on flinty reduction and needlepoint precision, the Bruno Colin and Philippe Colin brothers' are larger-scaled wines with greater fruit amplitude, texture, and mid-palate density. I have tasted both sets of these 2022s, and can warmly recommend them. Our pricing is also quite nice compared to the market!
95 Points Burghound: "A wonderfully elegant floral and spice-suffused nose freely reveals its array of apple, pear and citrus zest scents. There is outstanding density to the gorgeously textured medium-bodied flavors that also flash an almost pungent minerality on the superbly long, balanced and Zen-like finish. This is a knockout and should age accordingly."
