About This Wine
Jean Paul Thévenet is the lone member of the Gang based outside of Morgon in Régnié, and his wines are perfect examples of his home village. He has a high proportion of old vines, many over 90 years old, which add a deep complexity and intensity rarely found in Beaujolais. Floral and effusive with fine grained but firm tannins, these are for Beaujolais lovers that want elegance. Also, don't miss out on his rare Beaujolais Blanc made from Chardonnay in a fresh and crisp Chablisienne style.
Classic Morgon through and through made from old vines. Kermit Lynch describes this one as the "Morgon of our dreams."
