About This Wine
Producing Champagne since 1808, Henriot is one of the earliest bubbly adopters. The Souverain Brut tends toward a lighter, more crisp style with refreshing acidity and flavors of green apples, bosq pears, toast and cream and aà nice line of minerality. It also has some cream and vanilla on the finish. 30% reserve wines are used here to lend that toasty leesy quality. Each bottle is aged for more than 3 years in their cellars in Reims. Current dosage is less than 8g/l. Two-thirds of the final blend are Grand Cru and Premier Cru grapes.
